Saturday, April 24th is the last day that registered voters in the cities of Haines City and Lakeland can submit a request to receive a ballot by mail for the May 4th Municipal Run-Off Elections.<\/p>\n

Voters who received a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the April 6th city election will automatically be mailed a ballot for the Run-Off Election.\"\"<\/p>\n

Haines City residents will decide the outcome of the City Commission race for City Commission Seat 5 between Anne Huffman and Kenneth Kipp, and in Lakeland, voters will choose between Mike Musick and Shandale Terrell to decide the winner in the race for City Commissioner District D – Southeast.<\/p>\n

New requests can be made online at\u00a0PolkElections.com<\/a>\u00a0or by calling the Elections Office at (863) 534-5888.\u00a0 Voted ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off to the Supervisor of Elections, but they must be received by 7 pm on Election Day, May 4th.<\/p>\n

Polling locations for the April 6th Municipal Election will be open from 7 am \u2013 7 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, May 4th\u00a0<\/sup>and Florida law requires voters to vote at the precinct they are assigned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
