Did you know that today is National Independent Bookstore Day? AND we are thrilled to make the official announcement&#8230;<br><br>The idea for Pressed began a few years ago, but like many dreams, the thought was \u201cnot now but maybe one day.\u201d After spending the last decade in education (and loving it!) I started to feel a pull in a different direction. We revisited this idea of opening a bookstore\/coffee shop and one by one thing have begun to fall into place.<br><br>The vision for Pressed is to represent the Lakeland community through our hand-curated selection of book titles and our local sourcing of coffee and baked goods. We also have many community events in mind&#8230; more details on that coming soon.<br><br>BUT for now&#8230;we are busy working on the new space.
