The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a car burglary that occurred at the Avenue Apartments in Lakeland on April 13th. The suspect swiped the victim’s wallet from the vehicle, then proceeded to use the victim’s credit card at the RaceTrac at 6486 South Ford Avenue to fill up his own vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect then visited the Bartow Walmart and used the credit card to purchase a 55″ UHD TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detectives are still trying to identify the suspect, as well as the type of vehicle he was driving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
