When an officer tried to take down his tag, Truedell took off, ran a stoplight at Memorial Blvd. and Lakeshore Drive, and Vega-Ortiz broadsided his car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Truedell and Vega-Ortiz&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox13news.com\/news\/local-news\/two-killed-in-overnight-lakeland-crash\">were both killed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Lakeland Police Department spokeswoman says the department is reviewing the incident.
