Incident Description<\/strong>
At 8:00 AM on July 17, 2021, a contractor setting well points for the project hit a sanitary sewer force main. The city crew responded and turned off the pump station and started to maintain the station level with vactor trucks while the repair was made. Approximately 300 gallons were released but it was contained within the area and did not enter any waters of the state and was recovered. The repairs were completed, and the system was returned to normal operations at 3:00 PM that afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
