Incident Description<\/strong>
While performing pond evaluations two suspected liner tears were diagnosed in the II-C pond resulting in the probable release of an indeterminate amount of process water. This notice is precautionary, given the volume released, if any, is not known. Subsurface collection drains, a part of the permitted facility infrastructure are present in the vicinity of the suspected tears – water collected in the drains is actively being pumped back to the lined pond system while the site conducts additional evaluation and, if tears are confirmed, the site will prepare and execute a repair plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
