He started site preparations&nbsp;in Lakeland&nbsp;this week for&nbsp;his third restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe started demo last week and we project to have groundbreaking next week,\u201d he said.\u00a0His building permit \u2013 to move from demolition to construction \u2013 was approved on Aug. 27, according to city records. The contractor is Campbell Construction of Milwaukee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The new\u00a04,600-square-foot\u00a0restaurant\u00a0will be located between\u00a0the Sam\u2019s\u00a0Club and the\u00a0Walmart\u00a0at 5246 US 98 N. His\u00a0Culver&#8217;s will be the second in Lakeland. It is scheduled to open in early February.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1K6E3PHzMfwmrC51WyqexiZIS0xrgRv0I&#038;hl=en_US\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this year, the 39-year-old businessman&nbsp;purchased his&nbsp;second Culver\u2019s&nbsp;in Haines City&nbsp;in May 2021&nbsp;from the&nbsp;existing&nbsp;owners. He realized his dream of owning his first&nbsp;franchise when he&nbsp;opened a Culver\u2019s&nbsp;in Kissimmee near&nbsp;the theme parks.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Looking over his blueprints Friday, he said the new Culver\u2019s\u00a0will\u00a0have\u00a0a double-lane\u00a0drive-thru, 55 parking spaces,\u00a0and\u00a0room for 32 seats on a patio, a design he wanted because\u00a0of the pandemic. He said the addition of outdoor seating\u00a0was\u00a0\u201cto give people more options if they feel more comfortable eating outdoors.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1110px) 100vw, 1110px\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/culvers-2.jpg?w=1110&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14689\"   srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/culvers-2.jpg?w=660&amp;ssl=1 660w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/culvers-2.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inside, there will be 90 chairs for customers and&nbsp;the brand\u2019s&nbsp;famous range of menu options, Devine said. He noted that dual-lanes at the drive-thru is another unique feature that only a few other stores in Florida have.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig\u2019s parents,&nbsp;George&nbsp;and Ruth, introduced the world to Culver\u2019s&nbsp;ButterBurgers&nbsp;and Frozen Custard in Sauk City,&nbsp;Wisconsin, in 1984, according to&nbsp;the Culver\u2019s&nbsp;website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is headquartered in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
