The suspect said he did the damage to look \u201ccool\u201d as part of the social media trend, according to Bartow police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to authorities, the students are participating in the TikTok trend known as \u201cdevious licks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The videos show students vandalizing and stealing from schools, mostly in bathrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt all started with a TikTok video, a devious lick. Well, we\u2019re going to give you an arrest lick if you commit a criminal lick,\u201d said Judd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese are long last repercussions that a kid may think it\u2019s funny at the time but it could impact them for many years to come,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TikTok has banned \u201cdevious lick\u201d content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
