Jordan Howard led the Capitanes in the first quarter with 11 points, helping Mexico City take a first-quarter lead. It was a back-and-forth second quarter as the Capitanes took an eight point lead into the half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justin Reyes posted a 15-point third quarter and Mexico City extended their lead going into the fourth. Lakeland rallied in the final period behind strong quarters from both two-way players, Mulder and Ignas Brazdeikis, but it wasn\u2019t enough and the Capitanes held on for the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"426\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 340 \/ 426;\" width=\"340\" controls src=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/254743235_288137206651458_7741120657471372090_n.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mulder finished with a team-high 21 points and three rebounds. Brazdeikis posted 19 points, three rebounds and two assists. BJ Johnson added 19 points, nine rebounds and three steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reyes scored 30 points and five rebounds. Howard finished with 24 points, four rebounds and 4 assists. Alfonzo Mckinnie scored 22 points and five rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lakeland Magic and Mexico City Capitanes square off again on Thursday, November 11 at 7 PM EST at the RP Funding Center.
