Rheumatology is the first practice to open at 511 W. Alexander Street in Plant City; in the spring of 2022, Pediatric and Primary Care will be added to this new location as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" src=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/download.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18007\" width=\"252\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/download.png 180w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/download-150x150.png 150w\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are very excited to begin offering these care options to residents in this area,\u201d said&nbsp;Sarah Bhagat, CLSSBB Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer LRH Physician Group, Ambulatory Operations and Organizational Effectiveness.&nbsp;\u201cLakeland Regional Health is dedicated to providing more convenient access to high-quality primary and specialty care throughout our community and in the surrounding areas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two of Lakeland Regional Health\u2019s four Rheumatologists, Durkhani Mahboob, MD, and Adriana Moncayo, MD, relocated their Rheumatology practices from the Grasslands Campus in Lakeland to this new location. A rheumatologist is an internist who diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases and illnesses such as rheumatism, gout, lupus, arthritis, and other joint, muscle or ligament disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those interested in scheduling an appointment with either Dr. Mahboob or Dr. Moncayo should call&nbsp;<strong>863.284.5115<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information will be made available at a later date about the Primary Care and Pediatric specialties opening after the first of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lakeland Regional Health is pleased to announce that it opened a new location in Hillsborough County on Monday, December 6.
