Lakeland Electric will be adding six natural gas-powered internal combustion engines that power up quickly to help us manage demand and fluctuations from solar power in the place where these tanks are now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lakeland Electric will also be adding 50-75 megawatts of solar plus 10% battery storage. That&#8217;s about 3-5 times more solar power!
