Ron DeSantis on May 3, 2021(and subsequently S82006) does the city of Lakeland, as a municipal government, still believe that they have the authority to impose a mask mandate \/ requirement?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It would seem that if they cannot impose this on individuals or businesses &#8211; that would seem to include employees \u2013 who are also individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Should the most recent email on January 11, 2022 from city management to wear a mask be taken as non-compulsory advice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s couple this with the city bribing employees with two paid days off for those who show their vax papers by the end of January. What about those who have medical or religious reasons. Or who simply want to be fully informed before agreeing to put an unknown biological substance into their bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you know these mandates go against our constitutional freedoms.
