Sen. Kelli Stargel, R-Lakeland has introduced a bill to force women to endure nine months of pregnancy and risk their lives to give birth to their rapist\u2019s child, if they don\u2019t figure out within 15 weeks that they\u2019re pregnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For good measure, she would force a child raped and impregnated by her father to endure nine months of pregnancy \u2014 presumably as punishment for something \u2014 to risk her life to give birth to a child of incest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gov. Ron DeSantis calls it \u201creasonable\u201d and will sign it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do not believe the government \u2014 with raw force backed by guns \u2014 should force women and girls to risk death to deliver the offspring of rapists and incest fathers. I am unreasonable like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
