Any calls related to billing and associated topics\n(existing payment plans, cut-offs related to lack of payments, etc.) will be\ndeferred until our normal Call Center operations re-commence.<\/li><li>The LE Lobby will be closed Monday and Tuesday.<\/li><li>When asked about statuses and timelines for\noutages, customers can check out Lakeland Electric website\u2019s new Outage Map:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lakelandelectric.com\/outagemap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/lakelandelectric.com\/outagemap<\/a>.<\/li><li>We are not turning power off before the storm\nhits (some power companies do this in areas prone to flooding; Lakeland\nElectric does not have areas like this and therefore it isn\u2019t part of our\nstandard operation).<\/li><li>We recommend our Medical Essential Customers go\nto medical shelters as we cannot guarantee them power in an emergency\nsituation.<\/li><li>Lakeland Electric is ready &#8211; &nbsp;we have\nplenty of transformers, gas, mutual aid workers and tree trimmers if need be,\netc.<\/li><li>Lakeland Electric \u201cPost-Storm Reports\u201d will be\nsent to you at 9 a.m., 4 p.m., and 9 p.m. once the storm passes.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lakeland Electric Call Center will be open Monday from noon to 8 p.m. (with a possible extension to 11p.m.) to handle storm related calls only.
