The undefeated Polk State Eagles (8-0) soared to two more\nwins today at the Daytona State College Volleyball Invitational in Daytona\nBeach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polk State began the day with a 3-1 victory over Santa Fe\nCollege (No. 8 FCSAA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After taking the first set 25-13, the Eagles dropped the\nsecond 18-25 then won the next two 25-19 and 25-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milexa Cardona made a team-high 44 assists, adding 12 digs,\na kill, and a pair of aces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manuela Ibarguen led the Eagles with 18 kills to go with 10\ndigs and a block. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aixa Vigil reached double figures in kills (16) and digs\n(10) while serving four aces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suared Molina recorded 20 digs, four assists, a kill, and an\nace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mariane Cassiano contributed 10 digs, eight kills, and two\nassists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nina Finderle made three kills, while Macarena Flores\ntallied two kills and a dig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole Kuchma and Mariana Donado each finished with two aces\nand a dig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentina Bahamon made a kill and a block, and Keren Souza\nadded a kill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Eagles ended the day by defeating Indian River State\nCollege (No. 7 FCSAA) 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ibarguen made 16 kills, seven digs, and a pair of aces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vigil had 10 digs, nine kills, two assists, and two aces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardona recorded 27 assists, six digs, two kills, and an\nace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Souza contributed five kills, four digs, and two blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahamon finished with three kills, two blocks, and a dig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Molina made 12 digs and three assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
