The Watson Clinic Foundation is pleased to announce its\u00a03rd<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Healthy in Pink Social<\/strong>, an upcoming event devoted to breast cancer education and community empowerment.\u00a0 This year\u2019s event will take place on\u00a0Thursday, October 3 from 6 \u2013 8 pm from the Lone Palm Golf Club<\/strong>\u00a0at 800 Lone Palm Drive in Lakeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe response from\nthis event has been overwhelmingly positive in previous years,\u201d says Watson\nClinic Foundation Program Coordinator Peggy Garrett. \u201cAttendees can expect an\nevening filled with inspiring messages of hope and meaningful insights.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature\na performance from Karen Mills<\/strong>, an acclaimed stand-up comedian and\ncancer survivor whose infectious humor has entertained and inspired countless\naudiences throughout the country.  Watson Clinic Women\u2019s Center breast\nsurgeon Dr. Elisabeth Dupont will emcee the festivities, which will also offer\nsubstantial Hors d\u2019oeuvres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
