The Watson Clinic Foundation is pleased to announce that its\u00a026th Annual Benefit Golf Classic<\/strong>\u00a0will take place on\u00a0Saturday, October 26<\/strong>\u00a0from Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club at 2626 Duff Road in Lakeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           \n\u201cOur annual tournament provides golf enthusiasts and others an opportunity to\nspend a day on a beautiful golf course while giving to the community in the\nprocess,\u201d says Watson Clinic Foundation Program Coordinator Peggy\nGarrett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to\ntournament play, the event features a luxurious dinner, raffle giveaways, and a\nvariety of fun contests and assorted games of skill.  Entry for one golfer\nis $125, which includes range balls, golf cart, a bag lunch and seating for one\nat the awards dinner ceremony later that evening. The tournament begins at\n12:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceeds from the annual golf tournament allow the Foundation to continue its mission of promoting community wellness through education, research, and service. These efforts include free educational community lectures, potentially life-saving health screenings, progressive research projects and continuing education assistance for our local medical students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
