The recent closing of the trail is necessary for the safety of our visitors and resident wildlife. Signs will be posted at the beginning of the trail informing the public the trail is closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to note some trails may be periodically closed on any environmental land site for management and safety reasons. For a location map and additional information on Polk County Environmental lands, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.polknature.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.polknature.com<\/a>.
