For the second-straight season, the both teams head to Gainesville to compete in the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RUNNING IN THE DEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Both men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s races will take place at the University of Florida Golf Course, located at 2800 SW 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Ave. Gainesville, FL 32605.<\/li><li>The men&#8217;s 8K race is set to take place at 7:55 a.m. with the women&#8217;s race to follow at 8:30 a.m., as well as an awards ceremony scheduled for 9:30 a.m.<\/li><li>Spectator parking will be at the University of Florida Law School located on the corner of SW 2nd Ave and Village Drive.<\/li><li>Live results for both races can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/halfmiletiming.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li><li>For more information on the meet, click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/floridagators.com\/documents\/2019\/8\/12\/\/Mountain_Dew_Invitational_Meet_Information_New_Maps.pdf?id=27674\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CODE RED:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This marks the fourth time in both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s program history that SEU has competed in the Mountain Dew Invite.<\/li><li>The best team finish all-time team finish in the race for the men is 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;(2014, 2018), while the women finished fifth in last season&#8217;s race.<\/li><li>The best individual women&#8217;s time in the race is held by current sophomore&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fire.seu.edu\/roster.aspx?rp_id=2305\">Julia Rohm<\/a>, who ran an 18:24 5K last season that was the fifth-fasted 5K time in program history.<\/li><li>Rohm is coming off her second-straight top-finish at the Holloway Festival. Rohm cruised to the overall win with a time of 19:48, finishing nearly 20 seconds ahead of teammate Mackenzie Johnson who finished second. The Fire won the event, with five of the top seven finishers in the field.<\/li><li>The best individual men&#8217;s time in the race is held by Rashaad Graves, whose 26:28 finish in 2014 still stands as the fourth-best 8K time in school history.<\/li><li>The Fire men also earned a first-place finish at Holloway Park last weekend, finishing just two points shy of a perfect team score. Senior transfer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fire.seu.edu\/roster.aspx?rp_id=2479\">Mario Perez<\/a>&nbsp;competed in his first race with SEU, and first in two years.
