He will now represent Georgia in the national Best Bagger Championship at the National Grocers Association convention in Las Vegas, Feb. 26 \u2013 28, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI didn\u2019t know how well I did,\u201d Brennan said. \u201cWhen they announced me as the winner, I felt pure shock and joy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brennan competed against seven other contestants from other Georgia grocery stores. Judging was based on speed, weight distribution, style and technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was unbelievably proud of him,\u201d said Store Manager Matt McGraw. \u201cBrennan has been a great addition to our Publix family since joining the team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To qualify for the state competition, Brennan won the Publix Atlanta Division Bagging Contest on June 30, 2022.
