Polk County Animal Services, \u201cOperating beyond an organization\u2019s capacity for care is an unacceptable practice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is an unacceptable practice to spray down kennels or cages while animals are inside them.\u201d The Lakeland Gazette that this is routinely done at Animal Control, and the practice is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEach animal\u2019s individual health status should be evaluated and monitored beginning at intake and regularly thereafter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some Cats and Dogs NEVER GET AN EXAMINATION! And, clearly, the \u201cregularly thereafter,\u201d is not being followed, as the Lakeland Gazette told that it is not uncommon to find animals deceased in their cages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
