Fosdick tied for fifth place individually, just one stroke behind the leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. Naval Academy won the team championship with a combined score of 834, -6, in the two-day, three-round event. Yale finished second at 843 (+3), followed by Lafayette (844, +4), Rhode Island (848, +8) St. Peter&#8217;s (854, +14), and Florida Southern (859, +19). In all, 12 of the 14 teams participating were NCAA Division I programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fosdick went 69-70-68 in his three rounds for a total of 207 strokes. Sophomore&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/tucker_johnny_kxkf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Johnny Tucker<\/a>&nbsp;was the second best Moc on the weekend, tieing for 44rd place with 218 strokes (74-71-73). One stroke behind him were senior&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/ibbotson_chase_zl5y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chase Ibbotson<\/a>&nbsp;(74-74-71) and redshirt-freshman&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/alvarez_adam_yk4k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam Alvarez<\/a>&nbsp;(72-77-70). Sophomore&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/coutsolioutsos_max_a32m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Max Coutsolioutsos<\/a>&nbsp;posted a 72 today, his best round of the event, to place in a tie for 37<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;at 220, +10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mocs will return south for next week&#8217;s event, the Cougar Invitational, hosted by Columbus (Ga.)
