He is the first Moc golfer to win the award this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the week ending Sept. 15, Fosdick placed fifth overall at the St. John&#8217;s (N.Y.) University Doc Gimmler Classic played at historic Bethpage Golf Club on Long Island, N.Y. Of the 14 teams participating, 12 were Division I programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fosdick shot par or under in each of the three rounds of the tournament. On Day One, he shot a 2-under 68, followed by an even-par 70. On Day Two, he responded with a one-under 69.
