Drivers in Polk County saw major delays Thursday morning after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi shut down I-4 in both directions before 5 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The eastbound lanes have since reopened, but the westbound lanes remain closed as of 9:15 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n

The crash happened near mile marker 41. Westbound traffic is being diverted at SR 559.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said the crash involved a semi and another vehicle; two people were taken to the hospital, one with serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional details on the crash have not been released at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
