We are on track to meet our goal of restoring power to all customers able to receive power by the end of the day Tuesday. We will not let up our effort until every customer has service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At 9:00 p.m., we are reporting 1,478 customers without power.<ul><li>We have&nbsp;<strong>restored 98%<\/strong>&nbsp;of our storm-related outages.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>We made good progress on the south side of our service territory today.<\/li><li>The remaining customers can expect their power to be restored by the end of the day, Tuesday.<\/li><li>A few small outages remain on the north side of our service territory that will be restored by the end of the day Tuesday.<ul><li>Some customers with damage to their electrical components may not be ready to receive power and we can not restore their power until their repairs are completed. Information about the customer\u2019s responsibility is available here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lakelandelectric.com\/news\/___who-is-responsible-for-repairs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/lakelandelectric.com\/news\/___who-is-responsible-for-repairs<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Type of work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The remaining work is mostly scattered and small outages of 50 customers or less.<\/li><li>Easement work will continue until the end of restoration; these jobs can take longer to complete because of the constrained working area.<ul><li>Bucket trucks will not fit in these areas, so lineworkers must climb poles or use special equipment to work in these areas.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Restoration personnel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over 500 field personnel are working to restore power.<\/li><li>We have over 300 mutual aid personnel here from Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, North Carolina, New Jersey and Louisiana to assist with our power restoration effort.<\/li><li>Lakeland Electric has 200 personnel in the field restoring power.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customer information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We know it can be frustrating at the end of the restoration period, particularly when a customer is out of power but their neighbor has power.
