The Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office is getting in the spooky season spirit and jumping in on a new meme trend taking over social media.<\/p>\n\n\n

The trend sees users\u00a0editing photos of Spirit Halloween\u00a0costume bags into other funny, obviously fake, costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sheriff\u2019s office posted their own take on the meme on Facebook<\/a> with their Sheriff Grady Judd costume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cpackage\u201d says the costume comes with a uniform, TV camera, microphone, Moonpie, 7-Up and a \u201cbonus Polk County dictionary so you too can speak \u2018Poke County.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moonpie and 7-Up \u201caccessories\u201d are an ode to a memorable Judd quote addressing Polk County\u2019s murder rate in October 2021, with Judd saying, \u201cJust chill out. Drink a 7up. Eat a MoonPie. Quit murdering people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
