After 47 years of dedicated service, Publix Super Markets\u2019\nSenior Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities Jeff Chamberlain has\nannounced his decision to retire at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJeff has made significant contributions to Publix,\nparticularly in our expansion into newer market areas. Throughout his career,\nhe has trained, mentored and developed his team and those around him. We wish\nhim the very best as he begins the next chapter of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chamberlain, 63, began his Publix career in 1972 as a front\nservice clerk in Satellite Beach, Florida. After working in different\ncapacities at several stores in Brevard County, he was promoted to store\nmanager in 1983. In 1991, Chamberlain transferred into the real estate\ndepartment as manager for north Florida and south Georgia. In 1999, he was\npromoted to director of real estate market strategy, and in 2011, he was\npromoted to vice president of real estate. In 2017, he was promoted to his\ncurrent position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chamberlain will remain in Lakeland. He and his wife, Jill,\nare looking forward to enjoying grandparenthood and volunteering in their\ncommunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
