Utilizing rebates, energy audits, and supplies to increase energy efficiency, improve our environment and impact your business&#8217;s bottom line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fiscal Year 2023&nbsp;Available Funds<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our energy conservation fund has a fixed amount of rebates available each year. As of December 1, 2022, 58%\u00a0of the fund is available for customer rebates.<br>Funding for specific rebates may not always be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lakeland Electric is offering an appliance rebate to their residential customers who purchase a qualifying Energy Star\u00a9 appliance as listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualifying Energy Star\u00a9 appliances:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Refrigerator $200*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dishwasher $150*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clothes Washer $150*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clothes Dryer $150*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Freezer $40*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pool Pump $350*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water Heater (Heat pump only) $700*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot Water Heater Timer $50*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WI-FI Thermostat $100*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy Monitoring Device $100*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*Rebates will appear as a credit on your utility bill and may take up to 30 days to process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.kubra.com\/a_published\/lakelandelectric\/assets-docs\/Lakeland%20Electric%20Appliance%20Rebate%20form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Click to download Appliance Rebate Form<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rebate Amounts:&nbsp;<\/strong>$40 &#8211; $700 depending on the type of&nbsp;<strong><em>Energy Star\u00a9<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;appliance purchased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligible Participants:&nbsp;<\/strong>Current residential Lakeland Electric Customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Participate:&nbsp;<\/strong>After making a qualified purchase, download the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.kubra.com\/a_published\/lakelandelectric\/assets-docs\/Lakeland%20Electric%20Appliance%20Rebate%20form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rebate form<\/a>, print, fill out all information, and send it to: (<em>a copy of the receipt must be included &amp; show brand &amp; model number<\/em>)<br><br>E-mail it to:<br><a href=\"mailto:Appliancerebate@lakelandgov.net\">ApplianceRebate@lakelandgov.net<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or mail it to:<br>Lakeland Electric<br>Energy Efficiency Programs\/Andrea Scott<br>501 E Lemon St<br>Lakeland, FL 33801<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other conditions and requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rebates are subject to change without notice and are subject to approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The equipment must be installed in a permanent residence receiving Lakeland Electric residential electric service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be eligible for rebates, purchased equipment must be Energy Star\u00a9 qualified and currently listed on the Energy Star website &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.energystar.gov\/products\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/www.energystar.gov\/products<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrigerators or freezers must be full-sized as defined by Energy Star (7.75 cubic feet or greater volume).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rebate applications must be received within one year of the appliance purchase date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rebates cannot exceed the total installed cost for the appliance(s), which must be new appliances, not used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For a rebate to be applied, the brand and model number of equipment must show on the receipt and accompany the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications must be completed entirely for rebates to be applied.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rebates will not be paid to the equipment vendor or the installation contractor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Questions:<\/strong><br>Call Customer Service at 863-834-9535<br>E-mail:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ApplianceRebate@lakelandgov.net\">ApplianceRebate@lakelandgov.net<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lakeland Electric offers customers a variety of programs to encourage customers to reduce their energy usage and help lower their electric bills.
