Three Orange County deputies have resigned following a sex scandal, and one of the locations includes the Disney Springs parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies Skyelar Miller and Angel Mendoza began a sexual relationship in early 2021, according to a 51-page investigative report obtained by NBC affiliate WESH. Miller, and her supervisor, Cpl. Robert Garner began a sexual relationship later that year as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller believes Mendoza made the complaints after their relationship ended on bad terms, WESH<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Miller admitted to having \u201csexual intercourse while on duty\u201d with Garner on multiple occasions. Many of their encounters primarily happened behind a church in Windermere, behind a business near the Orange County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and in the parking lot at Disney Springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller and Mendoza also had sex while on duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt the Orange County Sheriff\u2019s Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards. Engaging in this behavior on duty \u2013 when they should have been responding to calls and protecting our community \u2013 is unacceptable,\u201d Orange County Sheriff John Mina said in a statement to WESH<\/a>. \u201cThese former deputies are not worthy of the uniform worn by those that serve with integrity and honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three deputies resigned during an investigation that would have resulted in termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
