The Moccasins will continue with ITA South Regional action today in Pensacola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW IT HAPPENED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The singles bracket saw round of 64 wins from&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/hertweck_valentin_pgxm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valentin Hertweck<\/a>&nbsp;over Anton Loff from West Alabama (7-5, 6-0),&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/pham_brandon_913z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brandon Pham<\/a>&nbsp;over Florian Simbozel from Valdosta St. (3-6, 6-4, 10-3) and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/nordblom_erik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Erik Nordblom<\/a>&nbsp;over Bruno Medeiros from Lee (3-6, 6-3, 10-6). The momentum halted for the Mocs there as Hertweck dropped a three-set thriller to Ghali Mensour from Saint Leo (6-4, 1-6, 10-6), Pham dropped a 7-6, 6-2 contest to Andres Donayre from Embry-Riddle and Nordblom dropped a 6-4, 6-3 contest to Lucca Baptista of Lynn.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/sohl_oscar_r05x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oscar Sohl<\/a>&nbsp;fell in his opening match 6-1, 6-3 to Willem van den Akker of Saint Leo.<\/li><li>In doubles action,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/salamanca_pablo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pablo Salamanca<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/pham_brian_rom9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brian Pham<\/a>&nbsp;fell in a close, 8-7 contest to Cizek and Etty of Valdosta St. while&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/martin_chase\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chase Martin<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mten\/2019-20\/bios\/cvjetan_miroslav_6f0i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miroslav Cvjetan<\/a>&nbsp;dropped an 8-4 match to Bojedjiev and Svensson from host institution West Florida.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UP NEXT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Moccasins will continue with ITA South Regional play today with singles consolation action for Sohl and doubles consolation action for the pairings of Salamanca\/Pham and Martin\/Cvjetan<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;Florida Southern College men&#8217;s tennis had singles success early but was unable to advance to the round of 16 at the ITA South Regional at West Florida on Friday.
