When I first started my event bartending business I had a bride choose a Moscow Mule as her signature drink for her wedding. My initial thought was that no one would order this at a wedding. It seems to have a specific small fanbase. But the bride knew what she wanted, as most brides do! And she insisted on a specific brand of ginger beer. Let me tell you I ate my words that night! I must have made two hundred Moscow Mules! The recipe I used was the best I\u2019d ever had! I don\u2019t normally like to push one brand over another but Gosling\u2019s brand ginger beer is worth the exception!<\/p>\n\n\n

You guys know that I am not a stickler for using specific bar glasses at home. But if you like this drink it is defiantly worth investing in a couple of copper mule mug<\/a>s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 .5 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 2 oz. vodka<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Chilled ginger beer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optional: a dash of simple syrup<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garnish with a candied ginger stick or a sprig of fresh mint<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Squeeze in the lime juice, a few ice cubes, and the vodka, simple syrup if you like, and stir. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a candied ginger stick or a sprig of fresh mint.
