{"id":30895,"date":"2023-03-07T11:13:48","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T16:13:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/?p=30895"},"modified":"2023-03-07T11:13:53","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T16:13:53","slug":"interstate-75-injury-crash-mm274","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/2023\/03\/07\/interstate-75-injury-crash-mm274\/","title":{"rendered":"Interstate 75 Injury Crash MM274"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On March 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at 12:30 AM, a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling southbound on I-75 near Milepost 274 at a high rate of speed.\u00a0 The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old Tampa man, overtook and collided with a trailer full of vehicle parts being towed by a 2012 Ford F250.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"30896\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/I-75-Crash-Mar-7-b.jpg?w=1110&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30896\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"30897\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/I-75-Crash-Mar-7-a.jpg?w=1110&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30897\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon impact, the motorcyclist was ejected into the open trailer as debris from the collision spread across all southbound lanes of the interstate.\u00a0 Suffering serious injuries, the motorcyclist was airlifted to an area hospital for medical care.\u00a0 The driver of the F250, a 53-year-old Apollo Beach man, was uninjured during the collision.\u00a0 A secondary crash occurred as a result of the debris and initial collision that involved five vehicles with no injury to any of the drivers.\u00a0 The crash closed the southbound lanes of I-75 until 3:40 AM.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 7th\u00a0at 12:30 AM, a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling southbound on I-75 near Milepost 274 at a high rate of speed.\u00a0 The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old Tampa man, overtook&hellip;
