And with a tart flavor reminiscent of cranberries the hibiscus has a brilliant floral edge making it the perfect partner for this classic coconut concoction. Moreover, tiki cocktails are really fun to make at home. Some entail a long list of ingredients but others, like the Pina Colada, one of my favorites, are pretty easy to put together. This Hibiscus Colada puts a personal spin on old classic, swapping out some of the heavy coconut cream for lighter coconut yogurt and hibiscus simple syrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 oz coconut rum<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 oz lime juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd oz hibiscus simple syrup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 oz pineapple juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 tbsp coconut yogurt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combine all ingredients in a blender of ice or shake up and enjoy on the rocks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Famed for its brilliantly colored petals, the hibiscus fruit is a wonderful ingredient to use in cocktails.
