No. 17 Lynn remains undefeated at 6-0-1 (3-0-1 Sunshine State Conference), while FSC drops to 2-3-3 (1-1-2 SSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW IT HAPPENED&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The first half was rather uneventful for both sides. Each team managed four shots apiece, with only one shot on goal.<\/li><li>Junior striker&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/msoc\/2019-20\/bios\/meehan_james_cl92\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">James Meehan<\/a>&nbsp;had Southern&#8217;s shot on goal in the 8th minute.<\/li><li>The Mocs carried play to open the second half. In the 50<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;minute,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/msoc\/2019-20\/bios\/ling-vannerus_jacob_qwvp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jacob Ling-Vannerus<\/a>&nbsp;had a 1v1 opportunity with the keeper but could not connect.<\/li><li>A minute later, a corner kick led to a header for Ling-Vannerus and another Lynn save.<\/li><li>Quickly the tide turned. At 57:43, Lynn finally converted. A beautiful pass into the center of the box came from Julian Kersting to set up Lukas Hombach. FSC keeper&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/msoc\/2019-20\/bios\/faderl_phillip_cq8n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Philip Faderl<\/a>&nbsp;came out and partially made the save, but the ball&#8217;s momentum carried the ball over the goalline.<\/li><li>In the 72<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;minute,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/msoc\/2019-20\/bios\/wall_martin_46am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Martin Wall<\/a>&nbsp;had a golden opportunity, but a strong save kept the score at 1-0.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INSIDE THE NUMBERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Florida Southern took eight shots, with three on goal.
