Known for his playful music and beachy vibes, Jimmy Buffett was an icon of the American music scene since his 1977 hit, \u201cMargaritaville,\u201d took the world by storm, bringing his laid-back style into the mainstream.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 194px) 100vw, 194px\" src=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Jimmy-Buffetts-Margaritaville-Perfect-Margarita.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35551\" style=\"width:225px;height:300px\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The &#8220;Margaritaville&#8221; singer-inspired devotees, known as \u201cParrotheads\u201d, are some of the best fans I\u2019ve personally had the pleasure of serving. They celebrate a more laid-back lifestyle with his music. A Buffett concert was the experience of a lifetime! The embrace of this relaxed, beach bum attitude saw great success throughout the singer\u2019s life with a chain of restaurants, resorts, collaborations, tons of merchandise, and even a Broadway musical.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, in honor of Buffett\u2019s life and legacy, I gave you his official recipe from Carlo Sernaglia and Julia Turshen&#8217;s\u00a0Margaritaville\u00a0cookbook that was shared with PEOPLE Magazine in the August 2018 issue. If you\u2019re wasting away in Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett\u2019s Margaritaville Perfect Margarita is just the drink you need. It\u2019s the standard margarita recipe but with the very best of ingredients. It\u2019s just a particularly good combination of fresh ingredients. That\u2019s the whole idea of it actually. Just to take the typical margarita recipe to a whole new level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bc cup tequila<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 Tbsp. water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 Tbsp. triple sec<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Tbsp. superfine sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lime wedge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a cocktail shaker, add\u00a01 cup ice, tequila, fresh lime juice, 3 tablespoons water, triple sec, and superfine sugar. 2. Shake well and pour contents into a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
