The Mocs have an adjusted scoring average of 73.47, through three events this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" src=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2148\" width=\"211\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC.png 400w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mocs-FSC-250x250.png 250w\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mocs highest finish so far this season was a first place tie at the Cougar Invitational presented by AFLAC. FSC had earlier placed sixth at the 2019 Doc Gimmler Men&#8217;s Golf Classic, which featured 12 Division I teams, and 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;place at the Copperhead Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freshman&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/fosdick_chris_b16d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chris Fosdick<\/a>&nbsp;and sophomore&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fscmocs.prestosports.com\/sports\/mgolf\/2019-20\/bios\/tucker_johnny_kxkf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Johnny Tucker<\/a>&nbsp;are both ranked as individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fosdick is ranked 29<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;in the country, with an adjusted scoring average of 71.89. He shot a one-under 69 in Round Three of the Doc Gimmler, leading the Moccasins to a sixth place team finish. Individually he finished tied for fifth place, just one stroke behind the leaders. Fosdick then finished one-under at the Cougar Invitational presented by AFLAC, and placed in an eighth place tie at the Copperhead Classic, finishing three over par.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tucker finds himself ranked 65th best in Division II. His best personal finish so far this fall was seventh place, at the Copperhead Classic. He shot one-over for the three rounds, as he made par 31 times and added 11 birdies. Earlier in the fall, at the Cougar Invitational presented by AFLAC, he posted a one-under performance, in a tie for 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mocs return to action on Monday, October 21, at the Otter Invitational in Seaside, Calif., hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Florida Southern men&#8217;s golf team is currently ranked 19th&nbsp;in the country, according to the Golfstat Division II Poll, which includes all events through Oct. 15.
