Tornado touched down between Lakeland Linder Airport and Kathleen as severe weather knocked out power to nearly 10,000 homes and businesses; that number was down to 8,657 by 9 a.m., according to Lakeland Electric\u2019s email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Lakeland Electric estimates power will be restored to most customers today, but some of the more damaged areas will be restored tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The weather conditions are a result of Tropical Storm Nestor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
