November 15 in 2022 and 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sold in bags branded:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cHMC Farms\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201dSignature Farms\u201d with a \u201c6359\u201d sticker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Also sold as individual fruit with a sticker that has \u201cUSA-E-U\u201d and a number\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yellow peach: 4044 or 4038<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>White peach: 4401<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yellow nectarine: 4036 or 4378<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>White nectarine: 3035<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Red plum: 4042<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black plum: 4040<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conventional fruit (not organic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>See&nbsp;<a contaminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What You Should Do<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Do not eat any recalled peaches, nectarines, and plums.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check your home, including your refrigerator and freezer, for any recalled fruit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you think you have any, throw them away or return them to the store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/foodsafety\/communication\/clean-refrigerator-steps.html\">Clean<\/a>&nbsp;your refrigerator, containers, and surfaces<\/strong>\u00a0that may have touched the recalled fruit.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Listeria<\/em>&nbsp;can survive in the refrigerator and can easily spread to other foods and surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call a healthcare provider right away<\/strong>\u00a0if you have these symptoms after eating recalled fruit:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pregnant people<\/strong>&nbsp;usually have fever, muscle aches, and tiredness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People who are not pregnant<\/strong>&nbsp;usually have fever, muscle aches, and tiredness. They may also get a headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, or seizures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What Businesses Should Do<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Do not sell or serve<\/strong>&nbsp;recalled fruit or food made with recalled fruit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Follow&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/foodborne-pathogens\/listeria-listeriosis#Retailers\">FDA\u2019s safe handling and cleaning advice<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>if you sold or served recalled fruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Listeria<\/em>&nbsp;Symptoms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Listeria<\/em>\u00a0is especially harmful to people who are pregnant, aged 65 or older, or with weakened immune systems. This is because\u00a0<em>Listeria<\/em>\u00a0is more likely to spread beyond their gut to other parts of their body, resulting in a severe condition known as invasive listeriosis.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For people who are pregnant,<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Listeria<\/em>&nbsp;can cause pregnancy loss, premature birth, or a life-threatening infection in their newborn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For people who are 65 years or older<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>who have a weakened immune system,<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Listeria<\/em>&nbsp;often results in hospitalization and sometimes death.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Symptoms usually start within 2 weeks after eating food contaminated with\u00a0<em>Listeria<\/em>, but may start as early as the same day or as late as 10 weeks after.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pregnant people<\/strong>&nbsp;usually have fever, muscle aches, and tiredness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People who are not pregnant<\/strong>&nbsp;usually have fever, muscle aches, and tiredness.
