Lakeland Gazette reached out to Jose Martinez on Thursday to ask about plans for Mootown Scoops. Martinez was not immediately available to discuss the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, few details are yet available about Mootown Scoops. An obvious Motown theme is evident from the scoop shop\u2019s name (and the reference to Michigan), but for now, we\u2019re waiting to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The location at Palmetto and Johnson is situated next to\u00a0Lake Morton, just across the street from the\u00a0Lakeland Public Library\u00a0and the\u00a0Polk Museum of Art.
