\n\nThe Southeastern University women’s soccer program has continued its stay in the NAIA Top-Five. The Fire came in at No. 4 in the latest installment of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll for the fourth-consecutive week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fire won three Sun Conference matches in a span of five days last week, including a 2-1 double overtime thriller over St. Thomas on the road to conclude the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior forward Uchenna Kanu<\/a> earned recognition as The Sun Conference and NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week for her five goal, four assist performance during that stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellow Sun Conference member Keiser remained at No. 1 in the national rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fire play their last regular season home contest this evening at the SEU Soccer Complex. SEU takes on the SCAD Bees at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
