That, they claims, is a violation of Federal Trade Commission Regulations and Florida law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, the plaintiffs claim Winn-Dixie consumers do not actually receive a free product as advertised but pay more than the regular price for their purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plaintiffs say this practice contradicts guidance from the Federal Trade Commission on BOGO promotions which states that customers should pay no more than the regular price for one item to receive another for free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winn-Dixie is facing a class-action lawsuit accusing the grocer of running unfair and deceptive &#8220;Buy One, Get One Free&#8221; ads.
