Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is facing a lawsuit after a guest was injured on a resort water slide, according to court records filed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lawsuit says that the guest \u2014 identified as Sarah Carney \u2014 was riding a water slide at the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort in June 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carney hit the bottom of the pool, causing her to sustain injuries \u201cin and about her body and extremities,\u201d the lawsuit adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to court documents, Carney has \u201calready suffered from all of these injuries, damages, harms and losses in the past, and they are either permanent or continuing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, Carney is accusing Disney of negligence and seeking over $50,000 in damages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in September,\u00a0another woman filed a lawsuit against Disney\u00a0after she suffered a \u201cpainful wedgie\u201d at The Typhoon Lagoon waterpark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that case, the impacts of the slide caused her swimsuit to \u201cbe painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her,\u201d that lawsuit reads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
