The commission nominated these candidates for consideration by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allison Fox, Bonde Johnson, Monica Smith, Jennifer Steimle, John Waters and Rachelle Williamson. Fox, Johnson, Smith, and Williamson are assistant state attorneys with the 10th Judicial Circuit. Steimle is a child support hearing officer, and Waters is a Lakeland attorney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fegers is assigned to general civil court cases. It will be up to County Administrative Judge Stacie Kaylor to determine the assignment for his successor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Judicial Nominating Commission for the 10th&nbsp;Circuit comprises Nicholas T. Zbrzeznj (chair), Julie Landrigan Ball (vice-chair), Walter E. Engle III, Benjamin W. Hardin Jr., Krista Mahalak, Robert S. Swaine, Frederick J. Murphy Jr. and Lydia S.
