New Bethel AME Church under the direction of the Rev. Nathan Mugala, will host a Community Day of Caring on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The church is at 2122 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Lakeland.<\/p>\n\n\n

The event will bring together parishioners, community members, and service organizations to offer free food and clothes to individuals who are experiencing homelessness or in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There also will be shower stations available on site for use.<\/p>\n\n\n

New Bethel AME Church has partnered with various community organizations, including\u00a0The Salvation Army, Barber Skate Shop, 3D Mobile Mammography, and others who will be offering access to their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
