Upon Polk\u00a0County<\/a>\u00a0Fire<\/a>\u00a0Rescues’ arrival at\u00a01<\/a>:05\u00a0p.m.<\/a>, crews located\u00a0an<\/a>\u00a0individual pinned\u00a0between<\/a>\u00a0a<\/a>\u00a0tree and\u00a0a<\/a>\u00a0bucket lift truck behind\u00a0a<\/a>\u00a0residence. The individual was performing tree trimming\u00a0services<\/a>\u00a0when the\u00a0incident<\/a>\u00a0occurred<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 Polk County<\/a> Fire<\/a> Rescue units responded to the scene and mutual aid<\/a> was provided by Lakeland Regional Trauma Surgeon Dr.<\/a> Olumide Sobowale, members of the Polk County<\/a> Sheriff<\/a>\u2019s Office<\/a>, Auburndale Fire Department<\/a> and Winter<\/a> Haven Fire Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur members continue to function at the highest levels and are prepared for all hazards,\u201d said Fire Chief Hezedean A. Smith, D.M. \u201cThe interdisciplinary collaboration between our medics, special operations members, command staff and our trauma surgeons was phenomenal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
