The Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) in Bartow, Florida, plans to hold a review and work session on April 12, 2024. The session will start at 9:00 a.m. in Room 407 of the County Administration Building and will be available on PGTV and the county’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n

Commissioner Bill Braswell will chair the meeting. The agenda will cover a review of the Board Meeting Agenda for April 16, 2024. The County Manager and the County Attorney will provide a briefing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session will discuss several important issues. These include public use rules for the Polk County Administration Facilities, a legal issue related to PACE, and the ongoing closure of Kathleen Road. The Rohr Home’s status will also be reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will also cover updates on waste and recycling for FY24\/25, led by Director Dale Henderson. The session will end with an adjournment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
