{"id":4651,"date":"2019-11-14T11:02:51","date_gmt":"2019-11-14T16:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/?p=4651"},"modified":"2019-11-14T11:03:08","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T16:03:08","slug":"deen-house-a-look-inside-currently-a-preschool-may-be-forthcoming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/2019\/11\/14\/deen-house-a-look-inside-currently-a-preschool-may-be-forthcoming\/","title":{"rendered":"Deen House a look inside currently, A Preschool may be forthcoming"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently Lakeland Photographer David Dickey Jr.&nbsp;got a\nchance this week to take some shots of the inside of&nbsp;Deen House, this 107-year-old\nlandmark on Frank Lloyd Wright Way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lakeland Planning &amp; Zoning Board has scheduled a\nmeeting on Tuesday on a conditional use permit allowing the&nbsp;building to be\nused as a preschool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently. the neighbors do not want this change on use and zoning and have started a quiet protest with 100 signs in the neighborhood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Townsend said the neighborhood association has not attempted to sit down and talk with the Brawners who own the Deen House about the residents\u2019 concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhether or not Lakeland needs another preschool is\nirrelevant, this is the wrong location for this type of use,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\nis no common ground for us to discuss.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FDPDickey%2Fposts%2F2269021713202488&#038;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"669\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently Lakeland Photographer David Dickey Jr.&nbsp;got a chance this week to take some shots of the inside of&nbsp;Deen House, this 107-year-old landmark on Frank Lloyd Wright Way.
