This is 58-year-old Joan Cunningham of Lakeland<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan was arrested by PCSO deputies on Wednesday morning, June 19th on a Polk County warrant from the State Attorney’s Office. <\/p>\n\n\n

Joan’s recent trouble began on May 26th, when she was arrested by PCSO deputies following a single-vehicle crash near Drane Field Road and Waring Road in Lakeland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time, Joan was determined to have been under the influence of some kind of substance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, where she was charged with DUI. During the booking procedures, a baggie containing a rock-like substance was found hidden on her body. That substance tested positive for lysergic acid diethylamide–more commonly known as LSD. Joan was additionally charged with the introduction of contraband to a detention facility and possession of LSD & drug paraphernalia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the amount of LSD she possessed, on June 14th the SAO upped the possession charge to a trafficking charge (7 grams or more) and issued an arrest warrant. The charge increased from a Felony 3rd Degree to a Felony 1st Degree.
