Ron DeSantis loosened that requirement, allowing governmental bodies the option of publishing notices on websites. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cProponents have made repeated attempts over the years to repeal the newspaper requirement for legal notices, arguing that local governments shouldn\u2019t be forced to subsidize the papers,\u201d the Florida Bar Association said.
