The messages were received by Governor DeSantis&#8217; office on his state website.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"342\" height=\"439\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1110px) 100vw, 1110px\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Screenshot-57-11.png?resize=342%2C439&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47541\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Screenshot-57-11.png?w=342&amp;ssl=1 342w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lakelandgazette.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Screenshot-57-11.png?resize=234%2C300&amp;ssl=1 234w\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The message was authored by Danyele Callaway, 20, and included a request for an immediate in-person meeting and life-threatening statements, which prompted staff to call authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HCSO said Callaway has a history of interactions with law enforcement, including arrests for battery on public servants and other charges. Detectives said Callaway has also made previous threats against the governor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HCSO Behavioral Resource Unit went to Callaway&#8217;s home where she allegedly admitted to making online threats.
